What we collect when you visit this site or ask us for a report, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you get it deleted.
eCom Live is operated by [Registered entity name], [Registered address]. We run live shopping channels on behalf of ecommerce brands. This policy covers this website and the forms on it. Work we do under a signed services agreement with a client brand is governed by that agreement and any data processing terms attached to it.
Questions about anything here go to hello@ecomlive.com.
When you request a report or contact us, we collect your name, email address, brand or company name, your role, your product category, the platforms you sell on, and whatever you write in the message field. We ask for these because we cannot build a useful report without them.
Our analytics and security tools record your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time on page. Some of this is set through cookies. Our Cookie Policy lists every tool by name.
To build a report we look at publicly visible activity on live shopping platforms, including your brand's own public streams and public streams by other sellers of your products. We do not access your platform accounts unless you grant us access under a services agreement.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
We rely on your consent for marketing email and non-essential cookies, on steps taken at your request before entering a contract when you ask us for a report or a call, on our legitimate interests in running and securing this site, and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Form submissions and the correspondence attached to them are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Records we must keep for tax or accounting purposes are kept for the period the law requires. Analytics data is retained according to the settings described in our Cookie Policy. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
We restrict access to personal information to the people who need it, use encrypted connections for this site and our internal tools, and require multi-factor authentication on the systems that hold your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email hello@ecomlive.com with the word "Privacy request" in the subject line and tell us what you want us to do. We will confirm receipt and respond within 30 days, or tell you if we need longer and why. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, and we will only use what you send us for that verification.
An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission that we can verify.
If you are in the UK or EEA and you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined under California law. We do not collect government identifiers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health information, biometric data, or information about racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation, or the contents of your private communications.
Because we do not collect it, there is nothing to limit. If you believe you have sent us information of this kind through a form, email hello@ecomlive.com and we will delete it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
Some analytics and advertising cookies can be treated as sharing under California law. You can refuse all non-essential cookies from the banner on this site, or change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences control in the corner of any page. If you would prefer to make the request in writing, email hello@ecomlive.com and we will action it and confirm.
We also honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.
Our service providers may process your information outside your country, including in the United States. Where information moves out of the UK or EEA we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards where they are needed. Ask us and we will tell you which mechanism applies to a given provider.
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will say so prominently on the site before it takes effect.
